Richard qualified as an accountant in 1993 and became a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 1998.  He is also a member of the Institute of Directors.

Richard is an experienced, hands-on, Chief Financial Officer/Finance Director with board of director level experience working in high growth, Private Equity backed, international pharmaceutical (CRO), software and high tech service organisations.  He is experienced in building high performing Finance and Back Office Support Teams, processes, procedures, and controls in fast growing SME’s and has successfully raised Business Angel and Private Equity investments in businesses he has worked in as well as overseeing successful trade sales.

In 2022, Richard set up his company to provide portfolio CFO/FD services to startup and high growth professional SME’s and shortly afterwards joined the Gordons Partnership as a Consultant Practice Director to oversee the Finance and Support functions for the firm.
