Niall joined Gordons in early 2018 having qualified as a solicitor in 2016, undertaking his training contract at an East London Law firm. Niall completed his training alongside studying for the LPC on a part-time basis at the University of Law in London Bloomsbury.
After spending the next 7 years at Gordons, Niall was made Partner in April 2025 and has become part of the leadership within our Commercial and Property Litigation team in our Chancery Lane office.
Niall advises on a wide range of litigious issues including, Landlord and Tenant matters, debt recovery and enforcement, contractual disputes, misrepresentation, general commercial dispute resolution and aspects of insurance and insolvency.
Niall prides himself in having a broad range of commercial experience and also has expertise in Leasehold Enfranchisement, acting for both freeholders and leaseholders in this aspect alongside various other litigious property matters.
Niall also works closely with our Commercial Property team, assisting with the issue of court proceedings in respect of both opposed and unopposed commercial lease renewals.

- Acting for an insurance company in respect of a determination of whether Equitable Liens rank before a secured creditor in the sale of a Development following the insolvency of a developer.
- Acting for an Aerodrome in a commercial property dispute, encompassing the early termination of a lease and dilapidations.
- Acting for a clothing company in a claim for misrepresentation and damages for the recission of a lease.
- Acting for an individual in a claim for misrepresentation concerning the identification of Japanese Knotweed following the sale of a Property.
- Acting in the purchase of a £2 million freehold in central London via Leasehold Enfranchisement.
