Amy joined our Guildford office in December 2013 as a Paralegal in Gordons Residential Conveyancing department.  Amy graduated with a first class honours degree in Law at BPP University in January 2018.  She then graduated with a distinction in the LPC from the University of Law in Guildford.

Amy qualified in 2021 and is now based in our London office specialising in Commercial and Civil Litigation.

Expertise

Amy has experience assisting corporate and private clients with contractual disputes; Consumer Rights Act 2015 disputes; boundary disputes and disputes involving the motor trade to name a few. Amy also reviews and prepares contracts, loan agreements and settlement agreements for her clients.

Client Care is at the heart of Amy's workload. Amy strives to achieve the best outcome for her clients, and seeks to settle outside of court promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution to save costs and time for her clients. She also adopts a no-nonsense approach to litigation and makes sure her client's understand the legal process from start to finish.

When out of court settlement is not an option, Amy has experience dealing with matters in the County Courts, as well as the High Court.

Notable Cases:

  • Successfully settling a contractual dispute within the building trade, achieving a settlement sum for the client
  • Preparing a loan agreement and complex repayment terms between two companies of over £500,000.00
  • Advising and acting for a German based company in achieving settlement of a dispute valued over 1,000,000.00 Euros
  • Assisting a client with a large council tax dispute dating back to 2012
